Food Pantry and Community Luncheon
In partnership with the Wayne County Food Pantry, the Honesdale Emergency Pantry, and other local community organizers, Saint John’s is committed to feeding our neighbors.
On the second Saturday of every month we offer a community luncheon and food giveaway. Shelf stable pantry goods as well as personal hygiene products are available to anyone in need.

Youth and Children’s Programs
Saint John’s offers a variety of educational and social programs for children and teens. Sunday School for children of all ages is available during our Sunday morning service throughout the school year, and Vacation Bible Camp is offered during the summer.
We also open our fellowship hall to teens in the community three evenings a week – Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays – where they are free to enjoy a variety of activities, games, and snacks, as well as receive free homework help and tutoring from retired teachers. Dinner is provided free of charge to any teens who drop in.

Prison Ministry
Pastor Adam and members of the Pastoral Care team offer services of Word, Sacrament, and pastoral care to the residents of the Wayne County Prison two Sundays a month.

Ministry to the Aging
The Pastoral Care team is diligent in visiting our homebound members and the residents of our local nursing homes, rehabs, and assisted living facilities – bringing the Word, Sacrament, and pastoral care to those in their golden years.

Alcoholics Anonymous
Saint John’s is committed to supporting the recovery community. We host Alcoholics Anonymous three nights a week – Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
